Editing information in a pop-up list
1. From the Edit View of a database record, tap on a pop-up list to dis-
play a list of choices.
2. Tap on the desired selection.
3. To clear the field, tap No selection.
Editing checkbox fields
1. From the Edit View of a database record, tap on a checkbox field to
display a list of choices.
2. Select or deselect the checkbox.
Editing lookup fields
Lookups are similar to pop-up lists, with one key difference: the choices
are not hardcoded. Instead, they exist in a database residing on the
Palm device. For more information about lookups, see APPENDIX E.,
“Implementing on-device database lookups,” starting on page 209.
To edit a lookup field:
1. From the Edit View of a database record, tap on a lookup control to
display a list of choices.
2. Tap on the desired selection.
Assigning the record to a category
Categories help to organize individual items into groups of items. Each
record item in a database belongs to a Category.
To assign the record to a Category:
1. From the Edit View of a database record, tap the Menu silk screen
button.
2. Tap Options|Properties.
The Pylon Pro Entry Details dialog box appears.

3. Select a Category from the Category drop-down list.
4. Click OK.
